Blue lace agate is one of the most popular agates because of its beautiful light blue or lavender color, which is often lined with white stripes or bands.  Because of these unusual stripes no two pieces of blue lace agate are exactly alike. The stone usually comes from Africa although there is a small find in southern British Columbia.
