Mystic Topaz is an enhanced clear topaz. In order to create it, clear topaz is first cut then treated with titanium on the back of the stone with a permanent bond to give it unique kaleidoscope colours, prominently greens, blues, and purples. Since this process only affects the surface of the stone, special care should be given to your piece.

The ancient Greeks believed that topaz could increase the strength of the wearer and even provide invisibility in desperate times.
